All Good Things Come To An End

May 14th, 2008 by Tina Silva

Been a little while since I last updated this blog. In all honesty, I just don’t feel like blogging on a million blogs anymore. A few of my domains stand out to me which is why I’ll be keeping them around, and then others don’t. This one…I’m still debating.

A few of my sites that will no longer exist include:

  • HamiltonGal.com
  • DreamTeddy.com
  • SisterlyLove.net
  • PoeticGirls.com
  • OceanPromises.com
  • GirlsCanDream.com

and maybe a few others. Oh well, even though I’ve enjoyed writing on those blogs, all good things come to an end.

Amazing Video!! Gotta see it!!

I can’t believe there are people in the world who can actually climb like this. This video amazes me really. Check it out. Watch the entire thing as it’s something you will want to see. The beginning is just him warming up so start from the 2 minute mark. Truly, this guy has talent.

Bible verses on Facebook

January 4th, 2008 by Tina Silva

I added this bible verses application on my facebook page and I must say, I actually enjoy reading the verses daily. Today’s caught my eye though. This is what it was:

Ephesians 4:26-27
“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.

What caught my eye? It was the part that said “…do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.” Really? I never knew you weren’t suppose to do that. I haven’t even heard of that at all!! I guess I better stop doing that because I’m sure I’ve gone to bed pissed off more times than I can remember.

So what’s an interesting verse you found in the bible?

Ebay is addicting!!!

December 12th, 2007 by Tina Silva

I’ve been neglecting ALL of my blogs for the past week. I haven’t really made my usually updates according to my blogging schedule. But hey…I’m only human and have only so many hours in a day.

The majority of my time has been spent on Ebay. Seriously…someone has to pull me away from that NOW!! I’m bidding on so many friggin things that it’s getting to the point where I’m really scrolling down the page to see all the auctions I’m participating in. I’m really blowing all the money I have to waste on items from Ebay. I’m not even getting things as Christmas gifts and that’s what I need the money for!!

Arrgghh…I think once these million bids are over, I will stop going to the site. It’s getting way too addicting and I really need to save my money especially with taxes coming up really soon!

Are you addicted to Ebay?? Then you might want to read this article I just found. Don’t forget to take the quiz too!! I answered yes for too many of those questions. *sigh*

How much will you spend?

December 3rd, 2007 by Tina Silva

xmastoys.gifI was reading an article from the Toronto Star where it says that most Canadians will spend over $700 for gifts this holiday season. What a huge number that is! But when you start thinking about electronics, the majority of them are over $100 each, so I can see where that number comes from.

The article also says that over 70% of those surveyed will be getting their holiday gifts at Walmart. I guess I’m included there. A little more than half the gifts I got were indeed from Walmart. The rest was from shopping online at Ebay.ca and from my favourite store Futureshop.ca.dollarsanta.png

I have just been thinking about the amount I have spent so far. Let me calculate and give a rough estimate. I have estimated that I will be spending around $450 this holiday season. That’s not bad at all. Most of that money is from money I made online in which I say thanks to those companies I work with. It’s great having that extra cash to spend especially during the holiday season.

So how much have you estimated you’ll be spending this Christmas?
