Gonna be busy making $$$

December 21st, 2007 by Tina Silva

I’ve been super busy lately and really…I mean REALLY lacked in blogging these past few weeks. It seems I just stopped blogging on certain blogs all together for the time being. Hopefully I’ll get back into the swing of things once Christmas is done and over with.

On top of catching up on my normal blogging, I have way too many reviews to do. When I say too many, I really mead it!! I have just 20+ from a certain company I work with. Then I have many more - some from individual advertisers and some from other review programs. I think I’m going to go insane by the end of the week.

Anyways, back to work. Gotta make the $$$.

Busy in the morning

December 15th, 2007 by Tina Silva

I have to babysit tomorrow morning. Oh the joy….not…ESPECIALLY since my nephew likes to be the biggest cry baby ever!! I’m just thinking about it now. The worst part is that it’s for the entire morning starting as early at 7am!!

Geeze…I go to bed at that time not wake up at it. So you can just imagine what it’s going to be like in the morning. Not to mention that we’re suppose to get a snowstorm too.

Ebay is addicting!!!

December 12th, 2007 by Tina Silva

I’ve been neglecting ALL of my blogs for the past week. I haven’t really made my usually updates according to my blogging schedule. But hey…I’m only human and have only so many hours in a day.

The majority of my time has been spent on Ebay. Seriously…someone has to pull me away from that NOW!! I’m bidding on so many friggin things that it’s getting to the point where I’m really scrolling down the page to see all the auctions I’m participating in. I’m really blowing all the money I have to waste on items from Ebay. I’m not even getting things as Christmas gifts and that’s what I need the money for!!

Arrgghh…I think once these million bids are over, I will stop going to the site. It’s getting way too addicting and I really need to save my money especially with taxes coming up really soon!

Are you addicted to Ebay?? Then you might want to read this article I just found. Don’t forget to take the quiz too!! I answered yes for too many of those questions. *sigh*

How much will you spend?

December 3rd, 2007 by Tina Silva

xmastoys.gifI was reading an article from the Toronto Star where it says that most Canadians will spend over $700 for gifts this holiday season. What a huge number that is! But when you start thinking about electronics, the majority of them are over $100 each, so I can see where that number comes from.

The article also says that over 70% of those surveyed will be getting their holiday gifts at Walmart. I guess I’m included there. A little more than half the gifts I got were indeed from Walmart. The rest was from shopping online at Ebay.ca and from my favourite store Futureshop.ca.dollarsanta.png

I have just been thinking about the amount I have spent so far. Let me calculate and give a rough estimate. I have estimated that I will be spending around $450 this holiday season. That’s not bad at all. Most of that money is from money I made online in which I say thanks to those companies I work with. It’s great having that extra cash to spend especially during the holiday season.

So how much have you estimated you’ll be spending this Christmas?

What a cry baby!!!

December 2nd, 2007 by Tina Silva

I got a new photo of my nephew Marquis to show you all. I absolutely LOVE this photo of him. He looks gorgeous!!

I had to babysit him for a few hours while my parents went to get groceries. Of course I was home alone. For the most part, he slept silently next to me in a crib. Then all of a sudden, he was farting then started crying. I was like…okay…what’s wrong? Then he kept crying.

I picked him up and started rocking him, smelled his bum for pooh, but there was none. Then I took him upstairs to feed him a bottle. Of course he stopped crying. When I was done feeding him, he just kept crying and crying. No matter what I did he wouldn’t stop. I was honestly going insane. I was to the point where I just laid him on the bed and laid next to him and listened to him cry for a minute. I was out of ideas on how to calm him down.

Then I picked him up and rocked him gently again. Still didn’t stop crying. Then finally I hear my parents come home and handed him to my mom who somehow calmed him down. Seriously…I don’t know how she did it!! I was honestly on my last fuse because I didn’t know what to do.
