Look at this!

Yes…I’m at it again with another site to my network. I started this one in the middle of October. I’m adding new content regularly too. What kind of website is it? It’s a children & parent friendly website that has great findings for both. Check it out. You’ll find lots of links to freebies too!!

Leave me alone!

October 22nd, 2007 by Tina Silva

I’ve been a very angry camper the entire day. The stupid things my parents say to me just made me explode. Seriously…don’t they know just to leave me alone? Man, it’s just been one of those days that I just want everyone and everything to leave me the fuck alone.

I’m stressed about a few things and the last thing I need is someone yelling down my throat. Just leave the room and don’t even talk to me. I can’t even look at your face because you are bugging me too much. That’s what I said to my mom today. I was pissed off about something and she wasn’t listening to what I was saying. It’s not like I was telling her to do anything. I was just telling her that the doctor our family doctor was talking about who deals with babies and children is a damn pediatrician. She wouldn’t even listen to me and started saying that I don’t know what the doctor was talking about because I wasn’t there blah blah blah.

Give me a friggin break. I got a million other things on my mind and then try to help her understand what it was and I get screwed in the end. Whatever!

My dog - my best friend

October 21st, 2007 by Tina Silva

If you haven’t noticed, my dog is my best friend. She is near me 24/7 and follows me whether I go. It’s like she’s my shadow. I go to the tv room, she follows and lays right next to me. I got upstairs for breakfast, she follows to eat too. I go to the computer room, she follows and either lays down behind me or on another computer chair I have. I go to bed, and she follows to her own bed in my room. It’s really quite funny!!

Here is a photo of her. She’s really photogenic too. LOL!

Middle of October

October 15th, 2007 by Tina Silva

Wow…October is flying by so quickly!! I can’t believe it’s the middle of the month already. That’s crazy. Pretty soon Christmas will be here! Geeze…now I’m going to panic!!

Looking at the calendar now, I just realized that my birthday is officially two weeks away! Woot…I can’t wait. I’ll be 22 years old on October 29th. I sure as heck don’t act my age though. I find it hard to take life so serious.

You just got to live one day at a time. That’s what I do.

My dog the princess

October 10th, 2007 by Tina Silva

Yup…of course my dog loves being the center of attention. It’s no surprise that she rocked it wearing a princess feathered tiara. LOL! … to be honest, she wanted to take the damn thing off. She hates having things on her head. But still…I think it’s just cute and it was only for a second so I could get a photograph.

As you can see in the photograph below, she didn’t even want to look at the damn camera!! It was like she was saying, “Get this stupid thing off me or else I’m not looking your way”. I bet that’s what she was thinking. hahaha….oh well. She still looks adorable!!

Can’t I have a break?

October 9th, 2007 by Tina Silva

Well, if it isn’t back to school in the morning after this beautiful 3day weekend. *sigh* … I really don’t want to go back. Wouldn’t it be amazing if I didn’t have to worry about working, education, or money? Then I could blog all day to my heart’s content. Seriously, that’s probably what I would do.

Celebrities are so friggin lucky…especially the ones who are born into wealthy families. They don’t have a single care except for having to look good for photos. Man…some of us live very hard lives where you just can’t seem to take a break. Just look at my parents. They have pretty much worked their entire life. My mom is a full time homemaker. Due to a broken back, she can’t seek employment so she stays home and takes care of the household. Without her, we’d be in complete chaos.

Then there’s my father. He’s worked ever since he was a little boy. I’m amazed at how much he does to keep this family in order and providing us with the things we need. I would love to win the lotto and then I could retire my parents and let them enjoy life worry free. I dream about it all the time but I have yet to find my way.

Tuesday Meme - Pumpkin Patch

October 9th, 2007 by Tina Silva

Week of October 9: Pumpkin Patch

Do you buy pumpkins?
Yes. I love buying pumpkins each and every year! I can’t imagine having them in my home.

Have you ever carved a pumpkin? What did you carve?
All the time!! I usually carve the typical jack-o-lantern.

Have you ever cooked a pumpkin? If so, what did you make?
Sometimes. We usually roast the pumpkin seeds in the oven and keep those. Yummy! We also cook the actual pumpkin. My mom does something with it and boils them or something. I can’t remember but it’s sort of like boiled vegetables, but it’s pumpkin. It really is delicious though!!
